The primary concept is to create a contemporary and architecturally stimulating development that integrates seamlessly with and respects the landscape. Situated just above the old trading post at Havnnes, the facility ensures that it does not detract attention from it in any manner.
The project consists of three buildings arranged to form a courtyard, linked by an open corridor connecting the main building to the two smaller structures: a technical building and a spa building. The main building features an open living room/kitchen area with an adjacent cold room/storage, along with two bedroom wings housing a total of eight bedrooms. Each bedroom boasts its own bathroom equipped with a shower and direct access to the outdoor terrain via large glass doors. Situated between the bedroom wings is a communal space designed as a library. Additionally, the main building includes a wardrobe, accessible WC, and laundry room. Positioned in the terrain behind the main structure, the technical building accommodates an equipment garage, technical room housing power distribution equipment, and the system for the buildings' hydronic heating. The third building houses showers, a sauna, and a studio for ski guides, among other amenities.
Just behind the buildings, there is an outdoor pool accompanied by an outdoor grill, among other amenities.
The facility utilizes hydronic heating, which is powered by heat exchangers and energy generated from solar panel installations.
Lodge Havnnes will be completed in January 2025.
